Our team
All staff are police and health checked to ensure they are eligible to care for and work with children. They are experienced and the majority formally qualified, however we look for more than paper credentials to find the best people for our nurseries. We employ team players with a real empathy and commitment towards the children in their care.
The day to day running of the nursery is the responsibility of the Nursery Manager, supported by a Deputy Manager. A senior member of the Management Team will always be on duty during the opening hours of the nursery. Similarly, there will be a qualified first aid representative on hand at all times should an accident occur. The nursery has three rooms; Babies, Toddlers, and Pre-school. Each room has its own Room Leader, responsible for planning and co-ordinating these areas. These are supported by nursery workers who will, almost without exception, work exclusively in their room to ensure the vitally important information of bonds between staff and children.
Your child will move up through the bases as and when they are ready, this decision is reached jointly between staff and parent/guardians and any move will have a phased approach to minimise disruption.
