We offer a School Teachers discount off your monthly fees, this discount is applicable on receipt of a payslip and identification badge.
Positive Steps requires a £60.00 registration fee and a deposit of £100.00 for 1 or 2 days booked within the Nursery or a deposit of £150.00 for 3 or more days, if you wish to register your child for a place at the Nursery please complete the attached registration form, enclosing a cheque for the appropriate amount made payable to Positive Steps Nursery.
*The Government funded 2½ hour Pre-School sessions are only available when booking a half day or full day Nursery session. Please call the above number to register your child.*
Funding for 3 and 4 year old children
Most 3 and 4 year olds in the Early Years Foundation Stage can receive funding. Once you have signed up to the local authority scheme you may be entitled to save the equivalent of approximately 2 months childcare fees over a period of 12 months. Contact the Nursery Manager directly for further information.
If you would like to register your child for a place at either of our Nurseries, please print and complete the registration form, and send this with a cheque payable to Positive Steps Nursery for £60.00 (registration fee), which is non-refundable, and a deposit of £100.00/£150.00 together with one months fees.
Childcare Vouchers
By exchanging part of your salary for childcare vouchers, you could be gaining National Insurance savings of up to 10% off your childcare costs. This scheme is set up via your employer. Please contact our Nursery Manager for further information.
Help With Fees
All three and four-year-olds are entitled to five 2.5 hour sessions of free early years education per week, at any registered early years education provider, in the private sector as well as pubic sector.
Current arrangements are that the funding is available for the three terms before the child reaches compulsary school age and is paid direct to your provider by the Local Education Authority. You also have the option of using Positive Steps Pre-school for full day care.
The Government has made a commitment to extend free Nursery Education to two-year-olds. This is already available in some areas and is due to be implemented by the end of April 2005. However, provision currently depends on where you live so please check with your Nursery Manager or Local Education Authority.
Working Tax Credits
Help is available to pay for childcare through the childcare element of Working Tax Credit. It provides substantial support with childcare costs and many families find that they are eligible to receive this support. Information leaflets are available at the nursery and we can help you to take the first steps towards applying for the Working Tax Credit.
