Current activities
Activities are arranged according to the stage and area of the nursery each child is in, however all children, from babies to Pre-school, have access to a wide range of learning experiences. There will be opportunities for your child to take part in music and movement, creative play and basic computer literacy sessions.
Children in the Pre-school room work in accordance with the Foundation Stage Curriculum guidelines which incorporate the government's Early Years Framework Standards. All childrens learning is individually tailored to suit their ability and stage this is reflected within each rooms planning.
From a very early age, children are stimulated and challenged with activities teaching them to discover more about themselves, the world and each other. We value diversity and equality and bring to the attention of the children the worldly cultural festivals, raising awareness of the world at large and how it operates.
The parents have full input into their childs day in many ways, contributing to planning activities and the weekly menus, through coming into the class to play. We value our parents and build great partnerships through these methods.
