Records of each child's achievement
Positive Steps maintains development records on all children that record their achievements all the way through the nursery. These are assembled using the observations of the staff in your child's base room and cover areas such as Mobility, Co-ordination, Independence, Use of Language and Social Play. The records serve as an essential, continual update for parent/guardians of their child's development, enabling children to recognise their own achievements. You will be invited to regular Parent's Evenings to discuss your child's development record and indeed anything else, with your child's key worker.
