Children ... our number one priority
Every child at Positive Steps is classed as an individual. Our staff are encouraged to form close relationships with the children in their care to ensure that all their needs are met, whether they be cultural, religious, developmental, dietary or medical. From the first day at Positive Steps, your child will immediately feel at home. Any number of trial sessions can be arranged during your child's settling in period and parents/guardians and siblings are welcome to ensure your child feels confident in new surroundings.
Each child is then encouraged to develop at their own pace in an environment designed to maximize their learning potential and develop their independence. Learning experiences are meaningful and enjoyable, with each new skill reinforced to provide every child with a solid educational base to build upon. We work to a high ratio of staff to children enabling us to offer personal care and individual attention to your child.
Up to 2 years old - 1 Nursery Nurse to 3 Children (1:3)
2 to 3 years old - 1 Nursery Nurse to 4 Children (1:4)
3 to 5 years old - 1 Nursery Nurse to 8 Children (1:8)
